SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE 'HEX' BAG (FABRIC, INTERFACING, HARDWARE):
· EXTERIOR MATERIALS - 1/4 yard or 1/4 meter - Quilting Cotton/Woven, Canvas, Cork, or Vinyl for the Exterior.
· LIGHTWEIGHT WOVEN INTERFACING 120gsm - 1/8 yard or 1/8 meter x 58” wide - Woven Interfacing 120gsm (Pellon SF101 or equivalent; EBfuse, STIFI, etc.), if using Quilting Cotton/Woven, Canvas, or Woven Fabric for the Exterior.
· FUSIBLE FLEECE - 1/4 yard or 1/4 meter If using Quilting Cotton/Woven, or Canvas for Exterior.
· COORINATING EXTERIOR MATERIALS- 1 - 12” x 10” Sheet of HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) or Vinyl
· LINING MATERIALS - 1/4 yard or 1/4 meter – Quilting Cotton/Woven, Canvas, Ripstop, or WPC (Water-Proof Canvas)/WRO (Water Resistant Oxford) for the Interior Lining.
· LIGHTWEIGHT WOVEN INTERFACING 120gsm – to 1/8 yard or 1/8 meter x 58” wide - Woven Interfacing 120gsm (Pellon SF101 or equivalent; EBfuse, STIFI, etc.), if using Quilting Cotton/Woven for Interior Lining.
· COORDINATING LINING MATERIALS - 1/4 yard or 1/4 meter for Card Slots - WPC (Water-Proof Canvas)/WRO (Water Resistant Oxford) or Cotton Woven.
· ZIPPER TAPE – 9.5” (24.1) of #5 Zipper Tape for the SMALL
– 11.5” (29.2) of #5 Zipper Tape for the LARGE
· ZIPPER PULL - 1 x #5 Zipper Pull per Bag.
· SIDE PINCH CONNECTORS – 2 x Side Pinch Connectors for the Main Strap and/or Wrist Strap.
TIP: Key Fob Hardware can also be used!
· WEBBING – 13” (33 cm) of 1” (2.5 cm) OR 1.5” (3.8 cm) Wide Webbing for the Wrist Strap.
· 1” – 1.5” LOBSTER CLASP - 1 x 1” (2.5 cm) OR 1.5” (3.8 cm) Lobster Clasp for the Wrist Strap.
· CHAIN – 1 x Ready Made Chain.
· OPTIONAL WEBBING – 2 yards or 2 meters of 1” (2.5 cm) wide Webbing, for the Main Adjustable Strap, IF NOT USING A READY-MADE CHAIN.
· OPTIONAL: 1” LOBSTER CLASPS

The 'HEX' Bag Pattern is drafted for use with domestic sewing machines. I have a Pfaff Quilt Expressions 710 and Pfaff Quilt Expression 3.5. I try to make things that don’t need an industrial machine, even though I have an industrial Juki-DDL 8100 eH/x.
Please do not post full pictures of the pattern pieces on social media.
The 'HEX' Bag pattern has both pictures and diagrams/illustrations. There are detailed instructions for every technique, along with “TIPS” and plenty of photos.
