  The Zipper Facings can be added to any sewing pattern using a Zipper Facing/Overlay in 6.5”, 7. 8’, or 9” wide. They are compatible with the Firethorn Bucket Bag and the Moonstone Messenger Bag from Cork and Copper Design.

   Make as many, or as few as you want. These are great scrap busters. If you are like me, I always have so many scraps that need to be used. The included cut files make them a breeze to cut!

The Underlay can be used UNDER others. This layering shows a fun pop of color from under and shows on the cut outs!

SUPPLIES NEEDED: (FABRIC and NOTIONS)

·       EXTERIOR MATERIAL - 1/4 yard or 1/4 meter – Leather (3/4/5 oz or heavier, with minimal stretch), Vinyl (0.7 mm or heavier with minimal stretch), Cork, or Kraftex.

(Exterior Main Cork/Vinyl/Leather ONLY, must be raw edged).

·       OPTIONAL: EDGE PAINT – Various kinds and colors available.

The Zipper Facing OART III Pattern Bundle is drafted for use with domestic sewing machines. I have a Pfaff Quilt Expressions 710 and Pfaff Quilt Expression 3.5. I try to make things that don’t need an industrial machine, even though I have an industrial Juki-DDL 8100 eH/x. Please do not post full pictures of the pattern pieces on social media.        

The Datura Crossbody Bag pattern has both pictures and diagrams/illustrations. There are detailed instructions for every technique, along with “TIPS” and plenty of photos.
